Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G Advantages

Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G Advantages

Intrigued by the capabilities  of this Xiaomi flagship phone? Here are some of the advantages of the Mi 10T that can be taken into consideration.

1. The screen has a refresh rate of 144 Hz

If so far you only have a cellphone that uses a  conventional 60 Hz refresh rate , now is the right time to try HDD ( high refresh rate ). The reason is, this Xiaomi Mi 10T has presented a very high refresh rate.

Not 90 Hz like the Xiaomi Mi 10, not 120 Hz like some  other famous flagship phones, but at 144 Hz! So far when the phone was released, no other phone has offered a  refresh rate higher than 144 Hz. This means that the Xiaomi Mi 10T is considered the best in the industry in this regard.

The screen carries an IPS LCD panel with a screen size of 6.68 inches and carries a Full HD Plus resolution, aka 1080 x 2400 pixels. This smartphone screen  from China also features HDR10 certification, which has a very high dynamic range level and can display even more colors.

You don’t have to worry about the screen getting dark when you take it outdoors, because the  peak brightness has already reached 630 nits (Auto mode). Oh yes, don’t forget, it is also coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass to make it more resistant to scratches or impacts.

2. Using Snapdragon 865

Currently, the Snapdragon chipset that people are looking for the most on  flagship  phones is definitely Snapdragon 865. Incidentally, the Xiaomi Mi 10T is also equipped with this chipset,  you know ! So about the performance, there is no need to doubt its greatness. All can definitely be played with high graphics and  frame rate settings .

This chipset is built on 7 nm+ manufacturing, and uses an  octa-core CPU configuration with its members in the form of 1 Kryo 585 2.84 GHz, Kryo 585 with a speed of 2.42 GHz with 3 cores, and finally the Kryo 585 with  a clock speed  of 1, 80 GHz as much as 4 cores. Also Read:

Snapdragon 865 is also coupled with the Adreno 650 graphics processing card, and runs on the MIUI 12 operating system based on Android 10. One source said that the Xiaomi Mi 10T pocketed  an enormous AnTuTu v8 benchmark score , which is up to 589,000. With benchmark numbers  like this, it’s no wonder that the Xiaomi Mi 10T has been named one of the most expensive Android phones ever released.

3. Bigger Battery

One of the things that makes the Xiaomi Mi 10T better than the regular version is the larger battery capacity. Indeed, not that much difference. Instead of presenting a 4,780 mAh capacity like the regular Xiaomi Mi 10, the Mi 10T variant actually has a 5,000 mAh battery.

This large capacity can certainly make you use this phone for up to the second day in a single charge. And even for intensive use, the Xiaomi Mi 10T is very feasible to use all day.

To charge it, it has also been equipped with a Fast Charging feature of 33W, again superior to the Xiaomi Mi 10 which is only 30W. Xiaomi claims that a full charge only takes 59 minutes.

4. Kicking Stereo Speaker

If you find a phone for this price that already uses stereo speakers, believe me, the left-right sound is balanced. Yes, Xiaomi Mi 10T has also been presented with this stereo speaker, pocketed Hi Res Audio certification and presents detailed quality and loud bass sound. Guaranteed, the speakers of this device can provide an immersive experience when used to watch videos, play favorite games, and also listen to songs.

5. Large RAM and Internal Memory Capacity

To be able to provide the experience of installing as many applications and games as you want, the Xiaomi Mi 10T already presents an internal memory of 128 GB with UFS 3.1 type.

In Indonesia, the Mi 10 T is only available in one RAM option, which is 8 GB LPDDR5 with a frequency of 2750 MHz. Because the RAM technology is superior, users don’t have to worry if the applications they run in large numbers will make the phone slow.

6. Triple Camera with 8K Recording

Here you will not find a Quad Camera configuration like the regular Xiaomi Mi 10, but only a Triple Camera with the main lens with a resolution of 64 MP with an aperture of f/1.9. The two supporting lenses are a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor with a 123-degree FOV, and a 5 MP lens that functions as a macro feature.

In terms of recording, you can expect resolutions up to 8K with  a frame rate of 30 FPS. Meanwhile, for 4K resolution,  the frame rate it supports is not only 30 FPS but also 60 FPS. Here are some sample photos of the Xiaomi Mi 10T.

Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G Disadvantages

Not only the advantages, we also provide you with information related to the shortcomings of the Xiaomi Mi 10T, as can be seen below.

1. No MicroSD Slot

Xiaomi Mi 10T is indeed released to the market with RAM and internal memory that suits the needs of its users, but unfortunately it is not equipped with a MicroSD slot at all.

Even though quite a lot of cellphones in its class already offer large internal memory but are still equipped with a microSD slot. As a result, you may have to be willing to share  internal storage for large file storage purposes such as HD movies or a collection of thousands of photos.

2. Screen is not Super AMOLED

We really need to  applaud the Xiaomi Mi 10T which provides a quality IPS LCD screen with a  super high refresh rate . However, in fact HP at a price of Rp. 6 million feels incomplete for some people if it is not Super AMOLED.

If it’s like the Xiaomi Mi 10 which is already Super AMOLED but has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, it seems that many people will prefer it over IPS LCD. You see, this device has a fingerprint sensor on the side of the body on the Power button instead of on the screen. Also, the color contrast on Super AMOLED is definitely wider than IPS LCD.

3. Without Wireless Charging

This is again a feature that feels lacking on the Xiaomi Mi 10T, as it doesn’t offer wireless charging. Yes, one of the feature cuts that occurs on this device, unlike the Mi 10 which presents  fast wireless charging with 30 W of power.

Not only that, Mi 10 also has a reverse wireless charging feature so you can charge your phone, tablet, or other accessories. A feature not to be missed.

4. Bigger Weight

A  smartphone must also pay attention to the ergonomic side so that it is comfortable to use. Well, apparently the Xiaomi Mi 10T has a few drawbacks in terms of its heavier weight and larger dimensions than the Mi 10.

The Mi 10T weighs 216 grams, this is a significant increase in weight compared to the Mi 10 which only weighs 208 grams. Not to mention, the dimensions are now 165.1 x 76.4 x 9.3 mm, slightly thicker and wider than the regular version.

On the back there is also a camera cradle which feels so big and thick, so if you put it on a table it won’t completely stick to a flat surface.

Conclusion

This Xiaomi Mi 10T apparently has some modified specs from the regular Mi 10. There is a reduction in specifications in some areas, some are actually improved.

To be sure, the 144 Hz number on the refresh rate of this cellphone is guaranteed to be one of the selling points. Xiaomi Mi 10T is suitable for those of you who feel  the 90 Hz refresh rate on the Mi 10 is not smooth. But again, you have to be willing to accept the fact that the Mi 10T only uses an IPS LCD panel (even so, the quality of this IPS LCD is one of the best in the industry).

Because it uses Snapdragon 865, the gaming experience can be more satisfying. However, the Xiaomi Mi 10T is not the only Xiaomi phone that is suitable for gaming, there are still many Xiaomi phones specifically for gaming that might interest you.
